For those enquiring after our welfare, we are delighted to announce that we all made it to the top of Snowdon on Saturday 4th October. The predicted bad weather never materialised and conditions couldn’t have been better. Although we weren’t the quickest group on the mountain that day, we were probably the fattest so at least that’s some kind of achievement! We now need to take some time to rest our weary muscles and work out what our next challenge will be. Stars of the day were Martin Hoskins (an excellent leader), our guest Andrew Bayley (incredible determination) and Sophie Harvey who skipped up and down and has now earned the nickname ‘Skippy’.
Many, many thanks to those of you who have sponsored us so far.
We continue to collect the money pledged for Headway Suffolk, so feel free to donate if you haven’t got round to it yet at www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/silverlining10 where you can also find some more photos of our day.
